The host site for the Puerto Rico Open presented by Banco Popular held its 2008 Pro-Am, Wednesday April 23rd, at 12:30. Calm conditions and a perfectly manicured golf course lead to perfect scoring conditions for the event. Aaron West, Director of Golf, Dorado del Mar and 2005, 2006, 2007 Player of the Year lead the way with a (-5) 67 to win his first Pro-Am of the 2008 season. Second Place was host professional and PGA director of Golf Alberto Rios, with a (-2) 70, a third place tie between Jaso Tobar, Hector Fernandez and Robert Moreno with matching even par 72's rounded out medal scoring for the event. Hector Fernandez has posted a top 3 finish in all three events this year and headlines a packed top 5 in both points and score for 2008.
