The annual Don Q Cup pit the Defending champion Professional team versus the PRGA's best in a 27 hole Ryder Cup event this Sunday with the Professional team coming out on top for the 3rd consecutive year. Congratulations to the 12 professionals for their participation. The professional team was made up of Jesus Rodriguez (Director of Golf Coamo Springs), Benny nieves (Assistant Professional El conquistador), Robert Moreno (Director of Golf Rio Mar), George smith (Assitant Professional Dorado Beach), Alberto Rios (Director of Golf Coco Beach), Aaron West (Director of Golf Dorado del Mar), Seth Henrich (Director of golf El Conquistador), Robert Birtel (Head Professional Plantation club), Hector Fernandez (Head Professional Aguirre), Tony Loyola (Head Professional Costa Caribe), Paul Veneziano (Director of Golf Caguas Real), Jeff Willenberg (General Manager Palmas del Mar).
The amateur team was made up of club champions, points leaders for the players series and members of the junior national team. Representing the amateur team was Mauricio Muniz, Javier Godoy, Ernie Villalobos, Raberto Favelo, Elvin Gonzalez Sr., Jasen Colon, Alfred colon, Leo Garcia, Sidney Wolf, Carlos Dolagaray, Jesus Baez, Luis Del la Haba.
