May 16, 2007 marked the Dorado Beach Pro-Am for the Island Chapter. Rafael "Junior" Castrillo A.K.A. "The rake" shot 73 (+1) to take the crown. The blustery conditions and difficult pins made for a high scoring afternoon but Junior made five birdies to go along with his great round. Two players Robert Moreno and home pro Jorge Smith shot matching 74's to tie for second place. Fourth place went to Robertito Birtel and Benny Nieves with 75's. Sixteen professionals participated in the event including host professional Junior Colon and off Island professional Sam Logan.
