The Pro-Junior tournament was held @ Caguas Real on June 26, 2006. Host Professional Paul veneziano provided some tough pin placements after the weeks rain as well as a firm set of greens for our participants to negotiate. In the Pro division Junior Castrillo "The Rake" lead the way with an even par score of 70, followed by Robert "cha cha cha" Birtel with a 71, third place was Hector Fernandez with a 72, Jesus rodriguez fired a 73, Aaron West with a 74, and Rigo Morales with a 75. The Castrillo team also took first place in the team division with a 7 under 63 in the follow the pro scramble format. The Birtel team fired a 5 under 65 and won a score card playoff against the Fernandez team who finished third with a 5 under 65. This was the first year the Pro-Junior has been played in five seasons and it is the current Executive boards feeling that community events helpo elevate the organization.
